Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking an Assistant Swimming Teacher to support swimming lessons for babies to adults. You will assist the Swimming Teacher and help learners build skills and confidence in the water, sometimes leading a small group under supervision.

This role offers flexible working options, including part-time shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package. Experience assisting in children's classes and a Level 1 UKCC qualification are preferred.

More about your role

As an Assistant Swimming Teacher you will support the Swimming Teacher in swimming lessons from babies to adults. You'll work closely with the Swimming Teacher in supporting swimmers develop their skills and confidence in the water. Within lessons, you may be responsible for a small group of learners learning a specific skill, under the direction of the Swimming Teacher

• 1) Ability to work with children
• 2) Ability to work as part of a team

Preferred:

• 1) Experience at assisting in swimming teaching/ children's classes.

Technical / professional qualifications:

• 1) Level 1 UKCC Swimming Teacher qualification, or equivalent.
