Spinwell is recruiting for an Assistant Supply Chain Delivery Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
Responsibilities
- Support the Hard Service Supply Chain Delivery Manager (SCDM) in the delivery of services and supplies from Estates Supply Chain Partners.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure high-quality service delivery to the estate.
- Work with Service Delivery Operations, Projects, Change teams, and wider Estates Teams to establish relationships, identify issues, and resolve supplier problems.
- Explore innovative collaboration methods with suppliers to provide cost-effective solutions and improve services.
- Support supplier performance management, ensuring contracted services are delivered correctly, and work with commercial teams on issues requiring escalation.
- Assist in resolving supplier issues, understanding constraints, reviewing management information, and developing corrective actions.
- Support management of the CAFM system and related supplier systems.
- Handle complaints and escalations related to supplier services.
- Produce reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; attend meetings as required.
Skills and Experience
- Experience with contractor service delivery management and industry innovations.
- Knowledge of CAFM systems for compliance and reporting.
- Operational experience with facilities management contracts and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects across locations and develop reports.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data reporting to SLT.
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement Programmes with suppliers.
- Familiarity with Supplier and Customer Relationship Management tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of risk management strategies and contingency planning.
- Ability to develop effective client and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience managing multi-site or national contracts.
- Drive resolution of overdue PPMs and remedial actions to minimize compliance risks.
