Stylist (Dog Groomer) – Rotherham – 24 Hours

Who are we?

We’re Pets at Home – if you love pets, you might already know about our Pet Care Centres, which include Pets Grooming salons and Vets for Pets practices across the UK.

What’s the role?

Our Stylists are vital to the success of our Pets Grooming salons. You will handle all aspects of pet grooming, confidently delivering high-standard, thorough grooms. You will exceed customer expectations by providing excellent service within the salon. Your communication skills will be essential as you interact daily with customers and their pets.

We provide training, skills, and knowledge to help you deliver service aligned with our goal of being the 'Best Pet Care Business in the World'. You will enjoy a competitive base salary, with opportunities to earn through our Earn As You Learn programmes, and additional pay through extra training.

Who are we looking for?

• Passionate about delivering excellent service.
• Flexible. Due to the busy retail environment, you should be able to work a flexible shift pattern across 6 days a week (closed on Sundays). The minimum contract is 39 hours, but additional hours may be required during busy periods, absences, or holidays.
• Confident and knowledgeable in dog grooming, styles/trends, and capable of completing high-standard grooms from start to finish on various breeds.
• Experience in a customer-facing salon environment preferred.
• Experience in a target-driven environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates willing to work in such settings.
