TOMMY HILFIGER is one of the world’s most recognized global lifestyle brands, confidently welcoming and inspiring consumers since 1985. Originally established in New York City and infused with the vibrant spirit of Americana, to create the modern uniform of accessible luxury.

About THE ROLE

Our stores are the life and soul of our business. They act as our main touch points with our ever-evolving consumer base, whether this is an owned and operated store or a concession in a partner environment.

As the world of retail evolves, we believe that our concessions must set the tone of what our two brands are all about.

To deliver this, we strive to hire individuals who live and breathe the values of our business, who are obsessed with delivering great service to our customers.

The Assistant Manager plays a key role in achieving these standards; they lead by example, embrace our entrepreneurial spirit, and inspire their teams through their passion and belief in our brands.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Concession team to generate sales, profit, minimize losses, and create the best possible customer experience while ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through collaboration.
  • Maintaining corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room.
  • Working alongside the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and understanding between VM and store teams.
  • Collaborating with partner store management to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives.
  • Focusing staff on the importance of quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
  • Completing daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluating product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and stock levels.
  • Communicating to the Concession Manager what is driving sales and discussing any issues/priorities.
  • Analyzing store level reports and creating action plans to improve results.
  • Assisting with the scheduling, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes.
  • Working with the Concession Manager to build bench strength for key positions.
  • Clearly communicating to staff: store and individual sales goals and other key performance expectations.

About YOU

  • You connect to consumers and have a previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
  • You have previous people management experience and act with purpose to resolve conflict.
  • You are an effective communicator with the ability to cultivate belonging.
  • You collaborate to win and recognize the contributions of others.
  • You are courageous in giving feedback that promotes positive change.
  • You adapt fast and work with pace.
  • You are energetic and inspire trust on the shop floor.
  • You approach issues with a ‘can do’ attitude and make informed decisions.

Experience in a concession environment is beneficial.
