Job summary

Skechers USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for our Trafford Centre store in Manchester.

You will support the Store Manager, lead a high-performing team, and focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving strong commercial results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will be responsible for supporting store operations, coaching on the sales floor, maintaining brand standards, and contributing to performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Assistant Manager or equivalent retail management role is essential
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to drive sales and deliver store KPIs
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate, coach and develop a diverse team
• Hands-on leadership style, leading by example on the sales floor
• Ability to analyse performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and customer experience
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supporting the Store Manager with staffing, scheduling, stock management and day-to-day operations
• Understanding of visual merchandising and maintaining high brand standards
• Ability to create a positive, collaborative team environment
• Passion for customer service, retail, footwear and the Skechers brand
