Evans Cycles in Manchester is seeking a proactive Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional cycling retail experience. You will lead the team, drive sales, and ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.

With strong leadership, a passion for customer service, and knowledge of cycling products, you will coach staff, manage merchandising, handle payroll and scheduling, and contribute to inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management or supervisory experience (cycling or sporting goods experience is a bonus).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Passionate about customer service with excellent communication skills.
• Sales-driven, with experience meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for cycling products is highly desirable.
• Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer-literate and confident with administrative tasks.
