The Role

At Charles Tyrwhitt, our purpose is to make it easy for men to dress well, and we rely on our specialist teams to achieve this. We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our store on Arthur Street in Belfast.

What you will be doing

The Assistant Manager plays a key role in store leadership, focusing on exceeding sales targets, achieving KPI goals, providing excellent customer service, and managing store operations. You will lead the sales team to identify and surpass sales opportunities, coach team members, build customer relationships, and manage customer appointments including corporate clients and wedding parties. You will also train staff on product knowledge and sales standards, foster a positive store culture, and support data analysis, stock management, costs, recruitment, HR, health and safety, and compliance.

  • Previous retail management experience
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams to high standards
  • Coaching and leadership skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Experience in stock management and loss prevention
  • Knowledge of systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
