The Assistant Store Manager will embody our engagement, listening, and guiding philosophy, partnering with the Store Manager to lead, develop, and motivate the team, creating exceptional customer experiences contributing to our success.

Working full-time on-site, including some weekends, you will support store operations, administration, and leadership, maintaining Aesop's standards. This role offers an opportunity to develop transferable management skills and stakeholder relationships.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in a people management role or similar within customer service
  • Proven sales skills and ability to drive results
  • Experience leading and creating an inclusive, safe work environment
  • Empathy in managing relationships
  • Curiosity and openness to understanding diverse perspectives
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and merchandising skills
  • Knowledge of skincare (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with hair care, body care, fragrance, and home categories (advantageous)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly, fixed-term position for one year, operating on-site.
