Store - LONDON-RICHMOND ST, ON
Responsibilities
- Assist the store manager in meeting sales and profit targets and other IRCs related to annual performance goals, managing the store team to achieve IRCs related to their roles.
- Help manage and ensure compliance with standardized operational procedures (SOPs) and company programs to adhere to applicable laws and regulations, enforce company policies and standards, and hold the team accountable for store conditions and results.
- Hire, train, and evaluate team members to achieve results, identify talent, and develop team members and other department managers for advancement opportunities, using leadership skills for continuous personal development.
- Supervise team members and, as needed, lead performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Plan workload, assist the store manager with planning and executing store workload, supervise and direct team members, including scheduling their hours, vacations, and approving time off.
- Lead and manage merchandise flow processes to ensure standards are met.
- Manage in-store inventory management programs.
- Supervise execution of planograms (POG).
- Oversee omnichannel merchandise operations.
- Manage loss prevention and security programs.
- Supervise visual presentation standards and manage seasonal displays and layout.
- Interact acceptably and respectfully with others, stay positive and respectful even in difficult situations, promote engagement with the company's vision and values, project a positive image, and serve as a role model.
- Act as a Guest Experience Manager (GEM).

- Leadership experience in retail management.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to move within the store.
- Bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch frequently.
- Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
- If assistance is needed to perform these tasks, communicate with a supervisor for reasonable accommodation.
Work Environment
- Retail environment caring for customers; all public areas are air-conditioned; some warehouses may not be air-conditioned; outdoor work may be assigned (gathering shopping carts or unloading trucks), the workshop includes a glass cutting machine and a heat press, working hours include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
