We are hiring for an Assistant Store Manager to join one of our exciting NEW stores opening later this year at Robin Retail Park, Wigan.

Please note: As the leader of our brand-new store opening on the retail park, you will play a key role in shaping its success from day one. You will join the business as soon as possible to undergo training, likely in another nearby store, and will be a vital part of the selection process for this new store's team.

There’s an established team in place, and you will work directly with them to create the best customer shopping experience possible. Footasylum is a business that values our front-end retail staff.

An Assistant Manager will assist the Store Manager with the store’s daily responsibilities by overseeing employees, modeling effective leadership, and providing excellent customer service. A primary responsibility is to carry out the Manager’s role in their absence. This role is also a stepping stone to develop into a Store Manager position.

• Proven experience in fashion retail, preferably in a managerial role within a fast-paced environment
• A strong track record of leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Exceptional organizational skills and a customer-first mindset
• A good understanding of the fashion industry and current trends

Ideal candidates include those currently working as Deputy Store Managers, Retail Operations Supervisors, Store Management Associates, Assistant Retail Managers, or Sales Floor Managers.
