Are you looking for an opportunity to progress in store management?

We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our fashion store team in Saffron Walden (CB10 1ES). This role could be the perfect match for you!

What does this role involve:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager with the daily operations of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.

You will inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values. Your contributions towards the success of the store will include:

• Ensuring the highest standard of customer service
• Achieving sales targets
• Maintaining high visual merchandising standards
• Maximising sales through physical and digital channels
• Supporting recruitment and development of volunteers
• Meeting campaign activity expectations
• Collaborating with the manager to generate stock

Our stores operate in a fast-paced environment, trading 7 days a week, requiring flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. This role involves working 28 hours per week across four days.

Due to the volume of donations, the role can be physically demanding but rewarding, as you help fund life-saving research.
