Job Title: Assistant Store Manager
Location: Reading
Salary: £35,000 to £43,000 per annum
Role: Permanent – Full-Time
Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading brands as an Assistant Manager. If you want to join a business achieving significant year-on-year growth, opening new UK retail sites weekly, and offering unlimited progression while helping to build a successful team, this could be the opportunity for you!

Ideal Candidate
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Store Manager, or Leader within fast-paced Retail or Hospitality sectors is advantageous, but candidates from leisure or retail management backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Motivated by results, committed to high standards, and capable of delivering excellent customer service.
  • High attention to detail, understanding of company procedures, and ability to give clear instructions.
  • Open to travelling within a 45-minute radius of your home and to other locally accessible stores.
  • Pro-active, solution-focused, able to prioritize, delegate, and develop a team to meet targets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Managing, coaching, and developing a team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Deputizing for the Store Manager to ensure processes, procedures, and compliance are maintained professionally.
  • Setting and implementing tasks to ensure effective service, stock management, and customer flow.
  • Maximizing sales through effective execution of the operating plan.
  • Driving the team to meet and exceed targets, setting clear goals for development.
  • Completing daily stock orders to ensure store availability.
