Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £35,000 to £44,000 per annum

Role: Permanent – Full-Time

Ideal Candidate

• Experience as an Assistant Manager, Store Manager, or Leader within fast-paced Retail or Hospitality sectors is advantageous, but management backgrounds in hospitality, leisure, or retail will be considered.
• Motivated by results, excited by achieving high standards, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• High attention to detail, understanding of company procedures, and ability to deliver clear instructions.
• Open to travelling within a 45-minute radius of your home location and to other locally commutable stores.
• Proactive, solution-focused, able to prioritize, delegate, and develop a team to achieve targets.

The Role – Key Responsibilities

• Managing, coaching, and developing a team to achieve outstanding results.
• Deputizing for the Store Manager to ensure all processes and compliance are maintained professionally.
• Setting and implementing tasks to ensure effective service, stock management, and customer flow.
• Maximizing sales results through effective execution of operational plans.
• Driving the team to meet and exceed targets and setting clear goals for their development.
• Completing daily stock ordering to maintain store availability.
