Job summary

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at Putney Exchange to partner with the Store Manager in driving store success. You will lead daily operations and foster a high-performing, customer-focused team to deliver outstanding service and uphold the Mountain Warehouse brand.

You’ll develop your people, manage stock and VM standards, monitor KPIs, recruit and retain talent, and ensure health and safety while providing a welcoming shopping environment for the local community.

Leadership & Team Development

• Partner with the Store Manager to lead a motivated, engaged, and high-performing team.

• Maintain high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards to enhance the shopping experience.
• Prioritise health and safety, conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring a secure environment for staff and customers.
• Play an active role in recruiting and retaining top talent to build a strong and motivated team.

Sales & Performance

• Support in meeting and exceeding sales targets, driving profitability through effective strategies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and sustain store success.
• Oversee stock levels, ensuring smooth replenishment and accurate delivery management.
• Implement proactive loss prevention strategies to protect the store’s profitability.

Customer Experience
