Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager for a leading storage company in Bristol. This is a Permanent position.
Responsibilities as an Assistant Manager:
- Take responsibility for the running of the store
- Deal effectively with sales enquiries from customers over the telephone and face to face
- Maximise every sales enquiry
- Complete all administrative tasks
- Set up and control of store marketing tasks
- Contribute to achieving the financial targets for the store
- Identify and suggest opportunities for improvement
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the store
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Manage and monitor store staff working practices
- Identify and report store repair and maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with company operational and financial policies
Requirements for an Assistant Manager:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Effective listening and clear speaking skills when communicating with customers
- Ability to work in a small team and adapt to lone working
- Accountability for store actions in the absence of a Store Manager
- Confidence and knowledge of company projects and services after induction and probation
The Role:
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, either 7:30am - 4:00pm or 9:30am - 6:00pm
- Salary: £28,136 plus bonus
