Job description

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager for a leading storage company in Bristol. This is a Permanent position.

Responsibilities as an Assistant Manager:
  1. Take responsibility for the running of the store
  2. Deal effectively with sales enquiries from customers over the telephone and face to face
  3. Maximise every sales enquiry
  4. Complete all administrative tasks
  5. Set up and control of store marketing tasks
  6. Contribute to achieving the financial targets for the store
  7. Identify and suggest opportunities for improvement
  8. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the store
  9. Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed
  10. Manage and monitor store staff working practices
  11. Identify and report store repair and maintenance issues
  12. Ensure compliance with company operational and financial policies
Requirements for an Assistant Manager:
  1. Good written and verbal communication skills
  2. Effective listening and clear speaking skills when communicating with customers
  3. Ability to work in a small team and adapt to lone working
  4. Accountability for store actions in the absence of a Store Manager
  5. Confidence and knowledge of company projects and services after induction and probation
The Role:
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, either 7:30am - 4:00pm or 9:30am - 6:00pm
  • Salary: £28,136 plus bonus
  • Permanent role with a fantastic team environment
