About The Role
What you'll be doing:
- Working with the Store Manager, sharing joint responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store.
- Leading by example, co-managing a small team of 4-6 staff members.
- Motivating your team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Building rapport with customers by offering honest advice, exceeding expectations, and reassuring them during their decision-making process.
- Working up to 45 hours per week; any extra hours are paid or can be taken as time off in lieu.
What You'll Need - Skills And Experience
- Proven experience in retail customer service or sales environments.
- Supervisory or junior management experience, preferably in a retail or field sales setting, especially in hard goods.
- Practical knowledge of our product range.
- Ability to sell our products effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in achieving sales targets.
- Confident, enthusiastic team player.
- Strong accuracy, numeracy, and basic computer skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Desire to succeed both individually and as a team co-leader.
