Job description

Our client is looking for an Assistant Store Manager and as an Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store and lead the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Duties include:

Take full responsibility for store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
Assist in coordinating daily activities and maintaining the highest retail standards.
Execute store strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure stock availability, accurate ordering, waste reduction, and effective promotional displays.
Manage freshness control, product presentation, and date-check compliance.
Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service at every touchpoint.
Ensure swift resolution of customer feedback and concerns.
Coordinate rotas, manage annual leave, and conduct team briefings.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and recognition.
Ensure the store is prepared for seasonal and promotional events.Your need to be:

Retail management or supervisory experience (desirable).This role is paying £27,000 - £29,000 per annum. The role is working on a 40-hour week, 5-day rota. You must be available to work one day of a weekend and between 7am – 8pm.

Other benefits include 30% discount, length of service benefits, pension scheme and 28 days holiday per year.
