Location: Midsummer House, Midsummer Common, Cambridge CB4 1HA.
Salary: Up to £34,000 plus tips (DOE). (up to £9,000 potential tip earnings).
Hours: Wednesday – Saturday (Every week).
Holiday: 5 weeks holiday (inclusive of 2 weeks over Christmas, 1 week in spring and 2 weeks in summer).
Days: This is a permanent job, four days a week, including lunch and dinner service every day we are open. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday. Flexibility to work all shifts between all specified days is required.

We are currently looking to expand the front of house team by recruiting individuals who are committed to providing an unparalleled level of service to our guests, leaving them wanting to return again. We are looking for an Assistant Sommelier to join the team; experience is essential.
The sommelier must be passionate about food, beverage, and hospitality, with exceptional attention to detail. You will support the ground floor dining team and head sommelier in managing the beverages department, providing efficient service, educating guests on wines, and training team members and management on wines. The ideal candidate should have a stable employment history and preferably hold wine/hospitality qualifications, though this is not mandatory.
