Davies Group in London is seeking an Assistant Solicitor to join our Personal Injury team. You will work alongside the Lead Lawyer on a high-profile client account, progressing a diverse portfolio of EL/PL claims with exposure to low- to high-value matters.

The role requires 2–4 years PQE, defendant PI experience, and strong EL/PL knowledge. Hybrid working with weekly or fort-nightly office attendance supports collaboration and career development within a reputable firm.

Are you a qualified solicitor looking to take the next step in your personal injury career? We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Lawyer to join our team in London, working alongside an experienced Lead Lawyer on a high-profile client account.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 2-4 years' PQE to gain exposure to a varied caseload of Employer's Liability and Public Liability (EL/PL) claims, ranging from lower-value matters through to complex, high-value cases worth millions of pounds.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working closely with the Lead and wider specialist team, you will play a key role in managing and progressing a diverse portfolio of personal injury claims while delivering exceptional service to a valued client.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with and managing EL/PL personal injury claims.
• Handling cases spanning a broad range of values, from straightforward matters to million-pound disputes.
• Supporting the strategic management of a major client account.
• Investigating liability, quantum, and coverage-related issues.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve successful outcomes for clients.

About You:

We are keen to hear from qualified solicitors who can demonstrate:

• 2-4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Experience handling defendant personal injury claims.
• Strong knowledge of EL/PL litigation.
• An understanding of coverage disputes, or a willingness to further develop knowledge in this area.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and case management skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients.
