Job Opportunity: Assistant Site Supervisor

Join our team in the commercial building sector, specializing in the manufacture and installation of replacement UPVC windows and doors for the public and housing authority sectors. We are seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor to report to the Contracts Manager. Key responsibilities include:

1. Overseeing all self-employed fitters and subcontractors
2. Managing contracts valued at approximately £1-3 million
3. Receiving, checking, and reporting on deliveries; assisting with unloading as needed
4. Booking and confirming appointments with residents
5. Ensuring on-site quality and EHS standards meet company and client expectations
6. Managing paperwork and administrative tasks promptly
7. Providing technical advice
8. Delivering projects on time and within budget

Requirements for this role:

1. Previous experience in site management within a construction environment
2. Valid CSCS card
3. Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
4. Man management skills (desirable)
5. Knowledge of UPVC windows and doors

The role involves some travel within the M4 corridor, so a full driving license is required. Occasional outside working hours and weekend flexibility may be necessary.
