Job description

Within the construction environment, consider buying materials, managing large projects, ensuring health and safety, and customer service. We work on approximately 400 developments across the UK, each with unique challenges, from new builds on brownfield sites to adapting existing structures like factories or hospitals.

We seek individuals who bring fresh ideas and imagination, alongside the commercial skills to manage people, budgets, and costs. Our construction teams have been recognized for excellence, winning more NHBC Pride in the Job Awards than any other housebuilder for thirteen consecutive years.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist in managing the site development through to completion, ensuring targets for programme, quality, and cost are met by effectively managing the site team and subcontractors.

You will be expected to:

  • Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, labor, and materials to meet production schedules.
  • Work with the Sales Team, attend meetings, adhere to procedures, and inspect show homes.
  • Take responsibility for duties as determined by the Site Manager, including deputizing when necessary.
  • Support the on-site construction team with resources, clear guidelines, communication, training, and workload organization.
  • Deliver excellent customer service in line with company standards.

To succeed, candidates should have:

  • Experience with established build programs.
  • Assertiveness to ensure target delivery.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a changing environment.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Builders, NVQ Level in Construction Management, or extensive trades experience.
  • Knowledge of construction trades, health and safety, NHBC standards, and building regulations.
  • Experience in customer service issues.

We are recognized as a 5-star housebuilder since 2010, committed to high-quality homes for all generations. We foster innovation, technology, and a customer-first approach, offering opportunities for apprentices, graduates, professionals, and ex-military personnel to advance their careers.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive bonus scheme
  • Private medical cover
  • 26 days’ holiday, increasing with service
