Job summary

CPR Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting an ambitious Assistant Site Manager for a major residential development in Sittingbourne, Kent.

You will work with the Senior Site Management team to oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure quality, safety, and programme delivery. The ideal candidate has proven experience in residential housebuilding and a strong understanding of masonry and/or timber-frame construction, NHBC standards, and a proactive, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding.
Strong knowledge of traditional masonry and/or timber-frame construction.
Experience working on large-volume housing developments.
A strong understanding of NHBC standards, health & safety and quality.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
The confidence to manage subcontractors and drive programme.
A proactive, hands-on approach to site management.
The ambition and capability to progress to Site Manager.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day management of development areas and coordinate site activities.
Collaborate with senior site management to maintain programme and delivery targets.
Ensure high standards of health & safety, quality, and workmanship on site.
Demonstrate leadership and organisational skills to drive subcontractors and teams.
