Job summary

Miller Homes Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for the Scotland-West region, based at the Chapel Gardens development in Dumbarton. You will provide on-site support to the Site Manager, ensuring activities align with the build programme and company standards, on a plot-by-plot basis.

Key responsibilities include coordinating labour, monitoring sub-contracts and maintaining site safety. The role requires experience in a similar position, plus qualifications and a proactive, can-do attitude

Qualifications

Experience in a similar role, ideally with a housebuilder.
Ability to plan, organise and monitor sub-contract activity on a day-by-day basis.
Positive can-do attitude to progress within the business.

Responsibilities

Control of all labour on site including direct and sub-contract to ensure coordination on a plot-by-plot basis and as per the build programme.
Monitor site activities, direct labour and sub-contract packages to ensure operations comply with the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
Ensure site security is adequate and maintained at all times including traffic management, theft prevention and public access control.
Provide cover during periods when the Site Manager is off site or for meetings, holidays or sickness.
