About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join a friendly team, working from our Central region and based at our site in Northampton on a permanent basis.

  • Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, and directing labour and materials to meet the production programme;
  • Work with the Sales Team to ensure regular Build/Sales meetings are attended, procedures are followed, and inspections of all show homes are carried out;
  • Take responsibility for duties as determined by the Site Manager; deputise for the Site Manager when required;
  • Assist the Site Manager in ensuring the on-site Construction team is well-resourced and guided with clear responsibilities;
  • Support site workers through communication, training, and organisation of workload and resources;
  • Deliver excellent customer service in line with company guidelines;
  • Implement and comply with Safety, Health, and Environment policies, legal requirements, and best practices;
  • Develop a project culture that embodies company values;
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure satisfactory project completion, delivering value to both client and company.
About You
  • NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Management or equivalent
  • CSCS – Gold supervisor
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • Scaffold Inspection Basic - CISRS
  • BREGS or willingness to achieve during probation
  • Fire Safety for low-rise flats and housing or willingness to achieve during probation
  • Environment Supervision in Construction Training – SSP (SEATS)
  • Experience with established build programmes
  • Coordination and supervision of site labour force
  • Experience in residential development delivery targets
  • Ability to prioritise tasks amid changing needs
  • Deep knowledge of construction trades and legislative requirements (Health and Safety, NHBC, Building Regulations)
  • Experience in Customer Service issues
  • Full UK Driving Licence
