Job summary

GS3 Recruitment Glasgow has a live assignment for an Assistant Site Manager on a new build housing project in Dunbar, East Lothian. The contract is 3 months with a view to permanent employment if desired, and offers either an hourly or day rate.

You will work with the Site Manager and Construction Manager to drive delivery, coordinate labour and materials, and uphold safety and quality across the build. Prior residential construction experience and SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise on a fast-paced site.
• Experience working in residential construction is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support daily site operations and ensure programmes are delivered safely and to a high standard.
• Assist in coordinating labour, plant and materials and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support health & safety compliance and monitor progress against targets; contribute to quality control and customer care.
