Job summary

Miller Homes Limited is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for the Scotland-West region, based at Chapel Gardens, Dumbarton. You will support the Site Manager on-site to ensure build programmes are followed and standards are met.

Experience in a similar role with a housebuilder is preferred. You will plan, monitor subcontract activity daily and contribute to a safe, efficient site alongside a strong team committed to quality and customer delight.

Responsibilities

• Control of all labour on site including direct and sub-contract to ensure activities are coordinated on a plot-by-plot basis and as scheduled on the build programme
• Monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contract packages to ensure operations follow the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan
• Ensure site security is adequate and maintained at all times including traffic management, prevention of theft and general public access
• Provide cover during periods when Site Manager is off site or for meetings, holiday cover or sickness where required

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for our Scotland-West region, to be based at our Chapel Gardens development in Dumbarton. The role will see you provide on-site support to the Site Manager, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the build programme and to specified company and company standards.

ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Control of all labour on site including direct and sub-contract to ensure that activities are coordinated on a plot by plot basis and as scheduled on the build programme.
• Monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contract packages to ensure that operations are carried out in strict accordance with the ‘Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan’.
