Job summary

Linsco is recruiting an Assistant Site Manager for its East Midlands operation, covering Nottingham & Derbyshire. You will support the Site Manager in day-to-day site operations on new build and refurbishment projects, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

The position involves coordinating subcontractors, managing site paperwork, and maintaining high health and safety standards in live environments.

Qualifications

Previous experience as Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar construction role.
Experience working on live or occupied environments preferred.
Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and support programme control

Responsibilities

Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour alongside the Site Manager
Assist with maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and housekeeping
Monitor progress of works and assist with ensuring the project remains on programme
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, consultants, and internal teams
Support the delivery of refurbishment works, including window replacements and building upgrades
Assist with site documentation including RAMS, permits, inspections, and progress reporting
Carry out regular site inspections and toolbox talks
Assist with coordinating materials, labour and plant requirements
Support the Site Manager in identifying and resolving issues on site
Help maintain a positive and well-organised site environment
