About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join our friendly team, working from our Central region at our site in Ashton Green, Leicester, on a permanent contract.

Duties include:

• Supporting the Site Manager in coordinating trades, directing labour and materials to meet the production schedule
• Attending regular Build/Sales meetings with the Sales Team, ensuring adherence to procedures, and inspecting show homes
• Taking responsibility for duties as assigned by the Site Manager and deputising when necessary
• Supporting the Site Manager in ensuring the construction team is well-resourced and guided
• Assisting site workers through communication, training, and workload organisation
• Providing excellent customer service in line with company standards
• Implementing and complying with safety, health, and environment policies, legal requirements, and best practices
• Fostering a positive organisational culture aligned with company values
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients throughout and beyond construction, ensuring value delivery

About You

• NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Management or equivalent
• CSCS – Gold supervisor
• SMSTS certification
• First Aid at Work certification
• Basic Scaffold Inspection – CISRS
• Willingness to achieve BREGS or similar during probation
• Willingness to achieve Fire Safety certification for low-rise flats and housing during probation
• Environment Supervision in Construction Training – SSP (SEATS)
• Experience working within an established build programme
• Coordination and supervision of site-based labour force
• Proven ability to meet delivery targets in residential development
• Strong task prioritisation skills to adapt to changing needs
• In-depth knowledge of construction trades, legislation, health and safety, NHBC, and Building Regulations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
