Job description

Madisons Recruitment are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to start ASAP for a leading high-end residential property developer in Herne Bay.

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Assistant Site Manager will support the day-to-day coordination and supervision of luxury residential construction projects. You will help ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality, safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in overseeing daily site operations and subcontractor management.
  2. Monitor construction schedules and coordinate site logistics.
  3. Support quality control and ensure finishes meet luxury standards.
  4. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
  5. Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
  6. Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
  7. Conduct site inspections and snagging processes.
  8. Help manage deliveries and site materials to avoid delays.
  9. Attend regular site and project meetings.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in residential construction, ideally in high-end/luxury builds.
  2. Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid, CSCS).
  3. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  4. A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering premium finishes.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.
  6. Strong understanding of construction processes and health & safety protocols.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (preferred).
  8. Full UK driving license.
