Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join our team within Vistry North Midlands, at our Worksop site in Nottinghamshire.

Role Overview

As our Assistant Site Manager, you will assist the Site Manager in ensuring site compliance with health and safety, coordinating subcontractors and materials, and maintaining construction quality. You will support site operations, inspections, snagging, and customer-facing activities to ensure a safe and efficient build process.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

• NVQ Level 3, 4, or 5 in Building Construction or similar
• Valid Scaffold Inspection, LOLER, First Aid at Work, SMSTS, and CITB SEATS certificates
• Qualified to the relevant CIOB Grade
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Project, and Asta Team plan
• Knowledge of health and safety, environmental obligations, and building legislation

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with construction methods, health and safety regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate with utility companies, trades, and suppliers
• Support weekly site meetings and promote safety and standards
• Maintain site presentation, documentation, and inductions
• Monitor health and safety practices and environmental policies
• Oversee quality control, inspections, and snagging
• Support customer-facing activities, including home demonstrations and service visits
