Are you a proven and enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager seeking a new role with a renowned house builder based on a development in the Tranent area?

This developer is one of the largest house builders in the country and is entering a period of growth with new developments opening across the region so it is an exciting time to join them as an Assistant Site Manager and develop your career.

  • Day to day you will be based on site and support the Site Manager; typical day duties will include:
  • Supporting each area of work to keep Health and Safety requirements up to date on a daily basis.
  • Assisting with keeping the build programme moving forward to meet agreed targets.
  • Accommodating customer walk arounds / handovers to ensure first class customer service throughout.
  • Supporting labour and sub contractor coordination throughout the site to support the site manager.
  • Assisting with the management of all site activity day to day (labour and sub contractor coordination).
  • Liaising with contractors to keep the site / compound tidy and clean at all times.
  • Assisting in the production of key status reports and updates on all KPIs relating to the construction and customer service functions.
  • Attending site Sales and Build meetings in relation to individual plots and completions.
  • Actively managing communications with customers and both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate the following:

  • A proven track record delivering new build construction projects.
  • Strong management skills to demonstrate confidence and comfort when liaising with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Up to date CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates and some knowledge of NHBC Regulations are desirable but not essential.
