The role of the Assistant Site Manager is to be responsible to the Site Manager for the on-site management and delivery of specified works to time and budget, in a safe and effective manner. They will liaise with QS, H&S, ISO, technical, and other managers within the company to ensure project delivery.

Role Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing specified works and workforce to achieve productivity levels, deadlines, and budgets.
- Support the management of works delivery according to the programme and communicate requirements to the workforce, aiding in their section of the programme.
- Coordinate labor and material requirements across site teams to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Liaise with project managers, QS, and procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials, maintaining control over labor and materials through monitoring and documentation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key client staff, stakeholders, funders, and third parties as needed.
- Own all aspects of managing works within your remit, understanding scope and resource requirements to deliver on time and within budget.
- Maintain relevant information to assist in producing, maintaining, and controlling work delivery, and communicate as needed.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained and communicated, along with programme and contract requirements.
- Keep accurate records of all aspects of the works, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with project management, commercial, and QS teams to manage subcontractors, orders, budgets, and costs.
- Work with Health & Safety to ensure the delivery of H&S plans, risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH assessments, with all documentation available on-site.
- Coordinate with ISO and Quality departments to ensure delivery of services and products across the works.
- Work with resident liaison and customer service to resolve residents' issues satisfactorily.
- Monitor workforce performance through objectives and action plans.
- Address contractor and subcontractor issues appropriately.
- Attend site and management meetings as scheduled.
- Stay updated on relevant industry regulations, H&S legislation, and company procedures.
Skills & Qualifications:
- ONC or equivalent qualification/experience in a construction-related discipline.
- Background in cladding/facades.
- In progress or completed NVQ in a construction-related discipline.
- CSCS card.
- SSTS certification is beneficial.
- QCQA certification is essential.
- EWI experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and H&S legislation.
- Willingness to undertake necessary training.
- Driving license and access to own vehicle are beneficial.
