Job description

Arlettie is a leading organiser of private and sample event sales for luxury and fashion brands across London and Paris. With a strong record of successful events in the UK, Arlettie partners with renowned brands such as Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, Hermès, Jimmy Choo, Kenzo, Lanvin, Ralph Lauren, among others.

As we embark on an exciting showroom expansion project, we are actively seeking an energetic, assertive, and experienced Assistant Showroom Manager to join our growing team. The Assistant Showroom Manager will support the showroom management team in ensuring smooth operations within a dynamic environment. Working closely with the Showroom Manager and collaborating with Account Managers, your main responsibility will be to contribute to the success of each sale event.

The usual workdays are Wednesday to Saturday, but this may vary based on business needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Team Management:
  • Assist in coordinating and supporting a diverse team of permanent and temporary staff, ensuring adherence to Arlettie's procedures.
  • Contribute to training initiatives and promote a positive work culture.
  • Support resource allocation and daily operations.
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Train and develop team members to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Operations Management:
    • Assist with stock deliveries, inventory, and stock returns, ensuring accuracy.
    • Support product zoning, merchandising, and visual displays.
    • Help in product pricing and tagging processes.
    • Assist in managing customer access, queues, and transactions.
    • Maintain a clean, organised showroom reflecting luxury standards.
    • Support health and safety, risk management, and loss prevention protocols.
    Minimum Requirements
    • At least 2 years of experience as an assistant manager in a fast-paced retail environment.
    • Willingness to learn and grow within a luxury retail setting.
    • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
    • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for service.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and support team members.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
    • A proactive attitude and readiness to take on new challenges.
