We are looking for a talented Assistant Shop Manager to work alongside the Shop Manager in our Hythe Book shop, working 15 hours per week across the seven-day trading week.
You should have a retail background, either commercial or charity, and be committed to supporting Demelza Hospice Care for Children. Enthusiasm, passion, and dedication to providing excellent customer service are essential.
As the Assistant Shop Manager, you will oversee daily shop operations in the absence of the Shop Manager, prepare and sort donations, especially gift-aided ones, and ensure visual merchandising and window displays are seasonal and appealing.
Computer skills, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Office, are required. You will also manage and develop a team of volunteers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service.
This role involves moderate moving and handling. Applicants must be aged 18 or over for insurance reasons.
