Job description

The Children’s Society is looking for an Assistant Shop Manager at our Culcheth Shop in Warrington, UK. This is a permanent, part-time position of 23 hours per week, with shifts to be discussed at interview. Additional hours may be required to cover absences.

As an Assistant Shop Manager, you will work alongside the Shop Manager to drive sales and profits, lead and motivate staff and volunteers, and ensure excellent customer service. You should be self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy working with people. Retail experience and good communication skills are essential, especially the ability to engage with the local community to build support for the shop.
