Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

Assistant Director / 2IC

Sparrow Early Learning- West Gippsland Region

Part-time Position (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

In this 2IC role, you will support the Service Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the Service in line with company policies and procedures, meeting compliance and operation targets. You will model compliance, leadership, creativity and innovation while ensuring a safe, positive and fun space for all. In this role you will design and implement engaging learning programs and work collaboratively while also providing confident support and motivation within your team of Educators. You will demonstrate commitment to customer service and an ability to build, nurture and maintain excellent relationships with our team, our families, our children and the wider community.

What you’ll need:
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a current Second in Charge role
  • Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Confidence when communicating with all levels of management
  • A strong ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive culture within our service
