A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Service Manager to join a group of our services based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire on a full-time, permanent basis (37.5 hours per week).

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will report to the Service Manager. Working alongside them, you will help to support a team of Support Workers and ensure the smooth running of the service.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Service Manager

• Have strong communication skills with the people we support, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Be confident in supporting with leading and managing a team.
• Be flexible, ensuring adequate support across the management team on site.
• Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.

This role requires you to be a driver.

What will you be doing?

• Be confident in working with computers and electronic systems.
• Support the Service Manager with management tasks.
• Support the team with their development.
• Ensure compliance across the team and service.
