A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Service Manager to join a group of our services based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire on a full-time, permanent basis (37.5 hours per week).

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will report to the Service Manager. Working alongside them, you will help to support a team of Support Workers and ensure the smooth running of the service.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Service Manager include:

  • Having strong communication skills with the people we support, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting and leading a team confidently.
  • Being flexible to ensure adequate support across the management team on site.
  • Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.

This role requires you to be a driver.

Key duties include:

  • Working confidently using a computer and electronic systems.
  • Supporting the Service Manager with management tasks.
  • Supporting the development of the team.
  • Ensuring compliance across the team and service.
