Job summary

Job Details
  • Location: Swansea
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Salary: £27,224 per annum (£14.15 per hour), sleep-in shifts at £60 per night, travel expenses paid at 45p per mile
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Interviews: As soon as possible
  • Note: Due to the needs of the people supported, this role is only open to Female Drivers
Role Overview

In this role, you will work alongside the Service Manager to ensure a safe and caring environment for the people we support and our colleagues. Your responsibilities include supporting daily operations, providing leadership, monitoring performance, conducting one-to-one meetings and appraisals, and leading team meetings. You will build positive relationships with stakeholders and focus on enabling independence for the people supported, delivering person-centred, flexible support to make everyday remarkable.

Candidate Profile
  • Experience supporting people with learning difficulties in social care
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or actively working towards)
  • Strong caring nature and commitment to supporting others
  • Understanding of the Care Council for Wales Code of Practice
  • Flexibility to work shifts and provide cover as needed
  • Driver’s license and willingness to travel for meetings and training
