Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative is seeking an Assistant Service Manager in Swansea. You will support people with learning disabilities to lead fulfilled lives while ensuring a high-quality service. This is a full-time permanent role requiring a caring nature, relevant experience, and a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.

Location: Swansea
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £27,224pa plus sleep-in shifts at £60 per night, and travel expenses paid at 45p per mile

Driver Essential
In this role, you’ll work alongside the Service Manager to ensure a safe and caring service for the people we support and our colleagues. You’ll be visible in the day-to-day operation of the service, supporting duties in line with the needs of the people we support. Your shifts will be on a rota basis, which may include sleep-ins. In the absence of the Service Manager, you’ll have responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, providing leadership and management to the team, monitoring performance, conducting one-to-ones and appraisals, and holding team meetings.
You’ll enjoy building positive relationships with all stakeholders and putting our vision and values into action to deliver a first-class service. Above all, your focus will be on achieving the highest levels of independence for the people we support, organizing and modeling support in an innovative, person-centred, and flexible way to make everyday remarkable.
