About the Post:

Neighbourhood Services are seeking a highly motivated and experienced officer to lead a multi-disciplinary team with their responsibilities being associated with a wide range of grounds maintenance operations.

You will require a wide range of skills and abilities ranging from effective and strong management skills to familiarity with the street cleansing environment through to horticultural and weed control knowledge, methodologies and legislative requirements.

You will need a strong focus upon health and safety matters and of the wellbeing of your team members as well as being confident to assertivelychallenge team matters and current working practice to ensure a culture of safety, wellbeing, excellence and continuous development and improvement is embedded.

As an Assistant Service Manager for Neighbourhood Services you will be expected to provide resilience on a contingency basis across the full span of our service offer and work closely with peers and both internal and external partners to ensure the needs of our customers and communities are met.
