Job summary

The Holy Trinity Catholic and Church of England through school is seeking an Assistant SENDCo to lead strategic SEND provision and oversee daily operations. You will work with staff to build capability and secure equitable outcomes for pupils with SEND across the 700-place secondary phase.

We value commitment to inclusive education, professional development, and collaboration with families. The role includes safeguarding responsibilities and an enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how to secure high-quality SEND provision
• Ability to plan strategically and oversee operational tasks
• Excellent communication with pupils, parents and staff

Responsibilities

• Plan strategically to ensure SEND provision across the school is high quality
• Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of SEND provision
• Work closely with teaching staff to ensure high-quality provision
• Provide training and support to staff where needed
• Help raise standards and life chances for all pupils, particularly those with SEND
