A local educational authority is seeking an Assistant SEND Caseworker to efficiently administer statutory duties relating to EHC needs assessments. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the SEND Team as an Assistant SEND Caseworker.
You will administer efficiently, under the direction of the responsible SEND Caseworker, the statutory duties of the Local Authority as set out in the Children and Families Act ( 2014) and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice (2015) regarding the Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessment, planning and review process.
Through a range of administrative tasks, you will contribute to the day to day delivery of an efficient statutory SEND service.
This position requires ICT skills as it involves following established processes to administer statutory duties.
