Assistant Schools Support Manager

Working 36.5 hours per week

Birmingham City Council’s School and Governor Support team is seeking a proactive and experienced individual to join us as an Assistant School Support Manager.

In this key role, you will:

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to Headteachers and Governing Boards across all phases of education.
  • Support schools in fulfilling their statutory duties on leadership, management, and governance.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to promote effective school management and safeguarding.
  • Respond to complex enquiries and contribute to school improvement through strategic support and project work.
