Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is hiring an Assistant Sanctions Manager to join the Commercial Sanctions team. The role provides specialist sanctions advice, conducts risk assessments, and supports business decision making across the Group.

You will work with a wide range of partners to identify, assess and manage sanctions risks while ensuring compliance with international laws and group policy. The position offers hybrid working across Glasgow/Edinburgh/Birmingham/Bristol, with 35 hours per week and a

You'll work closely with business, operational and oversight teams to identify , assess and manage sanctions risks and complying with international sanctions regulations and laws whil st helping to maintain a strong and effective control environment.This is an exciting opportunity to join a team involved in complex sanctions decision making, sanctions screening , sanctions risk assessments, investigations and the ongoing enhancement of sanctions controls. Depending on business needs and your experience, you'll support activity across our Advisory & Decisioning team or our Screening, Investigations & Governance team.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGProviding specialist sanctions advice and guidance to business partners across the Group.Assessing sanctions payments / cases and completing Sanctions Authorisation Forms (SAFs) as required in line with policy and international law and regulations.Conducting sanctions risk assessments relating to customers, transactions, products and emerging risks .Investigating sanctions breaches, control issues and regulatory concerns, helping to support effective remediation.Managing sanctions referrals and technical queries from Commercial Banking and Trade Finance colleagues.Supporting governance, reporting and continuous improvement activity across the sanctions control environment.ABOUT USLike the modern Britain we serve, we're evolving.
