Job Title – Assistant Sales Manager

Job Location – West London

Salary – 22k Basic with a 40k OTE

Job Summary

My client is recruiting an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to ensure the sales team meet targets and goals by overseeing all aspects of the sales process and ensuring profitability. In the role you will provide management support for consultants, mentor and coach the team including the development of the Apprenticeship programme.

Responsibilities

  1. Support Manager in achieving team targets
  2. Assist with motivation of Sales Consultants on a daily basis
  3. Maintain sales focus at all times on sales floor
  4. Mentor and support new staff
  5. Act as Duty Manager when requested by Sales Manager
  6. Assist with questions and queries from other Sales Consultants
  7. Act as a role model at all times
  8. Handle escalated customer complaints to arrive at a mutually satisfactory outcome
  9. Supervise ‘team buddy’ system to ensure all customers receive excellent service in the absence of their own consultant
  10. Collate and communicate feedback on success of promotional activity
  11. Assist with maintaining general office housekeeping

Skills/Experience Needed

  1. Must have a proven track record in a management/team leader capacity
  2. Proven track record in coaching team members
  3. Must have previous experience of travel sales
  4. Willing and able to motivate and lead a team to achieve results
