Assistant Sales Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 OTE (Competitive Salary, uncapped)

Location: Southampton

Contract: PERMANENT

About the Role

My client is seeking an energetic and focused Sales Executive to join the team based in Southampton. While prior experience is an advantage, what matters most is your willingness to learn, your drive to succeed, and your passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

In this role, you'll spend quality time with customers, building rapport, understanding their needs, and presenting the right solutions across the product range.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate suitable options to customers, adapting to their needs and encouraging test drives.
  • Agree pricing, payment methods, and finance arrangements within company guidelines.
  • Liaise with Sales Administration to confirm product availability, process orders, and schedule any additional services before delivery.
  • Follow up after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Plan and organise daily sales activity, including contacting prospects and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other dealership teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Hours of work
  • Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:00 (with 1 hour for lunch), standard day off during week
  • Saturday 08:30 - 17:00
  • Sunday 10:00 - 16:00 (rota)
