The Role:

As an Assistant Revenue Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing group bookings for hotels, maintaining group rates, and following up on enquiries to ensure conversion.
  • Maintaining knowledge of departmental policies, services, procedures, and standards.
  • Familiarity with hotel facilities, guest room layouts, bed types, decor, room availability, rates, packages, upselling, agent relationships, billing conditions, and cross-selling opportunities in Edinburgh venues.
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS, Channel Manager, Booking button, and third-party/FIT extranets.
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with agents.
  • Analyzing booking trends and competitor rates.
  • Preparing financial reports.
