About the Role
To act as an Assistant Manager for the retail operations of the SU, including The Village Shop, and/or The Union Shop, on our Mile End Campus. The role involves assisting in the day-to-day operational management of our shops, ensuring a positive customer perception and staff performance.
The post holder will need to ensure shop operations adhere to departmental standards, with a primary focus on enhancing the student experience and driving sales.
About You
You should be a hands-on, approachable leader committed to creating a safe, friendly environment centered on the student experience. The role’s hours are mainly Monday to Friday with various shifts, and some weekend work during busy periods or events.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills, work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
