We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Responsibilities
  1. Oversee Operations: Manage Front and Back of House, supervise team performance, and ensure task completion.
  2. Ensure Food Safety and Quality: Maintain recipe adherence, portion control, and compliance with safety standards.
  3. Control Costs: Manage food and labor expenses to maximize profitability.
  4. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop staff, set goals, and foster a positive work environment.
  5. Maintain Standards: Ensure compliance with company policies and health regulations.
  6. Merchandising & Inventory: Manage inventory, display standards, and signage.
  7. Office Management: Oversee funds, purchasing, scheduling, and payroll.
  8. Forecasting & Budgeting: Support sales monitoring and budget analysis.
  9. Problem Solving: Address routine issues effectively.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant with bar.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, POS systems, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or degree preferred.
